The washer isn't getting enough water to start or continue the cycle.

Try these free fixes first
Unplug the washer before opening any panel.
- Open both water taps fully.
- Check that the hot and cold hoses aren't kinked or squashed behind the machine.
- Make sure the drain hose isn't pushed too far into the standpipe (this can siphon water out).
- Turn the washer off at the wall for 1 minute, then restart.
